Braces
Braces are a great appliance to help enhance the appearance and feel of your smile and bite. There are various types of braces that we offer, including traditional metal braces and clear braces. To learn more about braces, simply call our practice!
Early Orthodontic Treatment
Most often, orthodontic treatment is completed in a single phase of comprehensive treatment; however, there are certain cases that can benefit from early interceptive orthodontic treatment. Early treatment is started when there is a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth present and can reduce the need to remove permanent teeth in the future, resolve jaw growth issues to reduce the need for surgical treatment, correct crossbites, reduce the risk of damage to permanent teeth, and help stop habits like thumb sucking. Phase I orthodontic treatment will often include an expander and limited braces. Phase II comprehensive orthodontic treatment is still needed in most cases to establish a healthy bite and alignment of all of the permanent teeth.

Our clinic is delighted to offer Invisalign clear aligners, which are a clear, convenient, and pleasant approach to get the smile you’ve always wanted. Invisalign’s unique SmartTrack® material will be used to create your custom aligners for a snug, comfortable fit and for optimal tooth movement. Invisalign is very popular among adult patients, but can also be a great option for teens who are disciplined and committed to their aligner schedule.. Our doctors plan your treatment in advance, creating an efficient plan so you can enjoy your new smile even sooner!
In-House Clear Aligners
We provide state-of-the-art, in-house clear aligners using iTero® digital scanning equipment and our own 3D printers in our Eau Claire & Chippewa Falls offices. Our in-house clear aligners are custom-made to fit your mouth and are nearly undetectable. So, most people won’t even know you’re wearing them while straightening your teeth. For optimal results, patients must wear their clear aligners for 20 to 22 hours daily to keep their teeth moving and on track.
Mini Implants/Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADS)
Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) are mini implants that can be placed in-office to provide stable anchorage. Placement is minimally invasive and typically not uncomfortable. TADs are removed once they are no longer needed during treatment. TADs can be used when closing space where permanent teeth are missing and correcting bites that would otherwise require surgery.
Complex Surgical Cases
Although the vast majority of cases do not require any surgical movement, we excel in providing superior surgical planning to address severe cases of coordination with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, who focuses on treating malocclusion, poor bites, and jaw bone abnormalities. These cases require difficult craniofacial problems. Although these cases can be more involved, they provide an amazing difference that can truly be life-changing!

In 5 minutes, we can digitally scan your teeth to create a 3D model for appliances, retainers, and even create an on-the-spot before and after treatment simulation.
